Private Music Lessons for All Ages and Abilities

We currently offer lessons on voice, piano, guitar, ukulele, bass guitar, drums/percussion, and general/exploratory music.

As music therapists, we specialize in adapting lessons to meet the needs and goals of our clients. Our primary lesson services are:

  • Adaptive lessons for individuals with disabilities or who are neurodivergent

  • Creative, strength-based lessons for children

  • Lessons for adult beginners

  • Adaptive Lessons for Individuals with Disabilities

Adaptive music lessons are just like other lessons, but with specific consideration for individual disabilities and differences. Adaptations may include physical adaptations to the instrument or playing style, adaptations to educational techniques and teaching styles, or other specific considerations related to social-emotional skills, communication, and sensory needs.

  • Music Lessons for Adult Beginners

Beginner music lessons with consideration for the unique benefits and challenges of being and adult learner. Extra emphasis is put on collaborative and functional goal setting, student preferences, flexibility, and reasonable expectations for practice.

  • Music Lessons for Children

Music lessons are offered on a variety of instruments and in a non-traditional approach that involves interactive and creative learning strategies, ear training, and students' preferred music and songs in addition to method book learning. Focus of lessons may shift over time based on student interest.
